Striking silhouettes of ballerinas creating beautiful lines and arches, Tap dancers rhythmic steps across the floor, Drama and suspense in The Tango, Freedom, fluidity and self expression in street dance. Although we are thoroughly enjoying the sunshine here in London, with the Autumn/Winter’14 season fast on the approach we can’t help but be excited for a little autumn breeze to have an excuse to wrap up in the gorgeous new collection’s cashmere. For the A/W season, designer Camille, took her inspiration from dance. It was a love affair of two parts, the love of the movement itself, along with the costumes worn by the dancers and how these were affected by their movements. The outfits also had their own influence, with the juxtaposition of the grace and elegance of the tutu with the over sized baggy trousers of hip hop street dancers, Camille has translated dance into inviting clothing to wrap up in and feel comfortable while still looking sophisticated .
