Well, it looks like the summer in London isn’t going anywhere for a while, so settle in and embrace it. Friday – Hyde Park installation (June 19th – September 9th)  We are expecting Friday to be the hottest day of the week, so why not spend it with some fresh air in Hyde Park while admiring the first UK outdoor artwork by 83 year old Bulgarian-born artist, Christo, titled, ‘The London Mastaba.’  Constructed using 7,506 oil barrels on a floating platform, that continues Christo’s use of barrels, a material he has used since 1958, chosen initially for its sculptural effect and low cost. With a perfect combination of new venues and established London favourites, Clerkenwell is a hidden gem and won’t leave you short of choices for local activities. Pretty old town, with wine tasting and beautiful viewpoints.   Porto is Portugal’s second-largest city, home to 240,000 people, with the heart of the community still concentrated in the medieval old city – the Ribeira. Porto is a pleasant, small city filled with stunning architecture, a flourishing foodie scene and beautiful bridges crossing the great Douro River. Since 1877, Wimbledon Tennis has been one of the most recognised tennis championships, hosting hundreds of royals, celebrities, and visitors from around the world and playing a central role in the foundation of many famous tennis careers. As far back as the nineteenth century, the accepted tennis outfit for players were plain white, long-sleeved shirts and trousers for men and full-length corseted white dresses and hats for women. It was not until the 1920s and 1930s that the players, (particularly the female players), began to experiment with their clothing. Summer is approaching and together with it some exciting news of a ten-day musical festival hitting London this May. This brand new ten day event, named All Points East, will first run from Friday 25 May 2018 until the 28th of May at the city’s Victoria Park, followed by a four – day community – focused programme, packed with comedy, food, outdoor cinema and more to reflect the vibrancy of its surrounding area.
